Objective The objective of the program:
1) To educate and train the potential halal managers, executives, coordinators on the process of halal certification and compliance
2) To understand of the requirement of Malaysian Standards use for reference of producing the halal food. Therefore, it increases the understanding on Halalan Thoyyiban requirements in any food industries and services
3) Increase awareness on pre-requisite requirements for Halal food and its supply chain
4) Implement the halal food production and food services activities to comply with the local and international requirements
5) Understand the Halal Food Requirements according to Malaysian Islamic Syari’ah law
6) Provide understanding on the concepts and principles of Green 5S system
7) Provide guidance on step-by-step implementation of Green 5S system
8) How to apply the Green 5S elements within the organization along with the halal supply chain
Training Outline 1) Introduction to Halal food industry
2) Shariah and technical requirements of related references for halal food and services.
3) Implementation of the requirements to the industry Halal certification process throughout the global supply chain.
4) Understand concepts and principles of Green 5S system.
5) Explanation of Green 5S elements
6) Able to develop Green 5S manual, implementation chart and Green 5S checklist
7) Identify the types of wastage in the organization and implement correction.
Methodology 1) Introduction to Halal food industry in Malaysia
Shariah and technical requirements of related references for halal food and services
2) Implementation of the requirements to the industry Halal certification process throughout the global supply chain
3) Understand concepts and principles of Green 5S system
4) Explanation of Green 5S elements
Participant Qualification 1)All Manager, Head, Executive, Supervisor, Leader and Employees involved in any food industries and services like food manufacturers, caterers, hotels, kitchen, warehousing, retailers, food service delivery
2) Age between 25 - 50 years old
3) Basic knowledge of computers and ICT skills
4) Has not participated in any course under MTCP
5) Minimal proficiency in English
